DAY 27.....

Im Thankful for Bailey's stuffed up nose

just this one day!

It was very cold this morning when we walked to

the bus stop and our winter clothes are stilled in a box in

the garage.

I found a sweatshirt of Anna's on her floor (of course) and

told Bailey he could just wear it to school

since it was a dark maroon color and non-girly.

He was okay with it.

What he didn't know was that it totally smelled like.....

JUSTIN BEIBER perfume!

I decided not to tell him, but after school I asked him if anyone liked his sweatshirt.

Thankful for a son who could not smell a sweet thing this morning!

Gary has planted 10 fruit & nut trees

at our new home here in Texas.

Our grass is all dead and ugly but we have a fall garden and some

beautiful shrubs and flowers in their new planters!

Happy Halloween............

For the past 10 years we have spent Halloween at the beach in San Diego.

This was our first year to walk our neighborhood,

 dress-up and give

out candy at our door step.

The boys were so excited and could hardly wait for it to get dark!

It was a great night but we sure did miss our annual beach trip with so many of our good friends!  If California wasn't 22 hours away, we would have been there for sure!
