ANNA REALLY LIKES BEING ABLE TO COME HOME AFTER SEMINARY

TO EAT, SHOWER, EXERCISE, AND I'M SURE

SHE'LL BE FINISHING UP HOMEWORK SOON.

AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE.........I CAN GET BACK ON A SCHEDULE OF READING, EXERCISING, MEDITATING, ORGANIZING, CLEANING, LAUNDRY,

COOKING, EATING LESS, CLEANING LESS,

ALL IN PEACE .

UNTIL 3:00 WHEN THE HOMEWORK FIGHT BEGINS,

OR.....

UNTIL SOMETHING NEW ROCKS MY WORLD.

It's wonderful that we are all given different gifts & talents! 

Most of my children have artistic abilities and it has been a blessing!

Recently, we have been painting at the kitchen table.  Anna painted this picture on canvas for my birthday and I LOVE IT!  It is hanging in our kitchen.  The boys are working on some self portraits and they will be great and unique when they are finished.

I love to learn new things!  I wish I had more time just to sit and be creative.  I would love to sit at a table and draw, paint, and write with Jim Brickman' piano music in the background.

We are all given gifts to benefit others and develop and grow.

Anna drew and then painted this in a day.  The face on this man is amazing!  I'm amazed at the talents of my children.........some visual talents and some inner talents.

Macey was chosen to paint this in Bonanza's hallway her Senior year.

Tally is a great leader and was a great volleyball coach.

She has a lot of leadership skills and is a great teacher.

FINDING JOY IN THE JOURNEY

This is our one and only chance at mortal life - here and now.  The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief.  Opportunities come, and then they are gone.  I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not.  I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do.  Instead, find joy in the journey - now.

Throughout our lives, we must deal with change.  Some changes are welcome; some are not.  There are changes in our lives which are sudden, such as the unexpected passing of a loved one, an unforeseen illness, the loss of a possession we treasure.  But most of the changes take place subtly and slowly. Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now.  The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes.  The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details.  Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes.
